I work in the Department of Biology at Carleton College, where I teach Human Physiology, Neurobiology, and a Neuroscience seminar. I am interested in how the nervous system acquires, processes, and relays information. I approach this subject by studying the cellular mechanisms underlying sensory transduction and synaptic transmission in various systems.
